Section Properties

Note:
  • Section properties are calculated in accordance with the North American Specification for the Design of Cold Formed Steel Structural Members, 2001 Edition.
  • The minimum delivered steel thickness per code is 95% of the design thickness.
  • Steel shall conform to ASTM A653 Structural Grade 50 or Grade 33 with minimum yield strengths of 50,000 psi or 33,000 psi, respectively.
  • Steel shall be galvanized in accordance with ASTM A924 Coating Class G60.
  • Effective properties are based on fully braced sections.
