Section properties are calculated in accordance with the North American Specification for the Design of Cold Formed Steel Structural Members, 2001 Edition.
The minimum delivered steel thickness per code is 95% of the design thickness.
Steel shall conform to ASTM A653 Structural Grade 50 or Grade 33 with minimum yield strengths of 50,000 psi or 33,000 psi, respectively.
Steel shall be galvanized in accordance with ASTM A924 Coating Class G60.
Effective properties are based on fully braced sections.
