Nucon raises $9k for United Way of Denton County
Ice cream, bosses auctioned off for an hour of their time, doggies bathed and dressed in their best costumes and umm…male employees dressed in their best in a beauty pageant? Yes! Those were the sights included in this year’s Nuconsteel pacesetter campaign for the United Way of Denton County.
As previously mentioned in the June 10th post, Nuconsteel has participated as a pacesetter company in the United Way of Denton County campaign for many years. Each year brings new events and a greater opportunity for our employees to show their community support through payroll deductions and fundraising.
We are happy to report Nuconsteel reached our goal of $9,000 to donate to the United Way of Denton County. A big thank you to our Employee Campaign Coordinator, Pam Black, and our Leader on Loan, Michelle Sellers, as well as our employees for their continued support!
Below are a few photos from our events. There are many more on our Facebook Page! You’ll definitely want to check out the pageant photos.
This is how Nucon Lives United!
